PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Welcome to the website of Boca Woods Cancer Research Chapter, Pap Corps. We are proud  that our membership has now reached 309.

We are dedicated to raising monies for cancer research and contributing to Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine. More than ninety percent of funds collected go directly to research. Our events have been successful due to your participation. We thank you for sharing our passion in trying to find a cure for this dread disease.

We have a wonderful group of Board members and committee people who are diligently at work searching for activities that will interest you. Please contact any one of our Board members and arrange to participate with us. We appreciate your comments and suggestions.

The fall season will include events at the Club in September, October, November and December. Outside events can be viewed on TV, on posters around the club and mailings. It will be a “win-win” situation when we can join in the joy of finding a cure.

Be sure to read the FYI education that reports the latest treatments, findings and current information. If you are a Pap member and need help with a medical problem, please call Nina Unger (561-852-4344), our doctor-referral chairperson. She will get in touch with someone who can help you arrange a speedy appointment with the appropriate physician at Jackson Memorial and/or Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. The appointment will be yours within five days and you are assured the best of care.

Boca Woods is the Boca Raton country club
